Joseph is a designer and urbanist with a Degree and Diploma in Architecture and a Masters in Spatial Planning and Urban Design. He is currently working as a Principal Project Officer in the Greater London Authority Regeneration team and is the area lead for projects in Newham, Enfield and Haringey. Joseph leads the Mayor’s Commissioning Quality research strand of the Good Growth by Design Programme. He previously led on the Ecological Urbanism research inquiry where he has worked on policy and guidance embedding circular economy principles into London’s planning system.

Joseph is the co-host of the platform Sound Advice, with Pooja Agrawal, which explores spatial inequalities through social commentary and music. Since October 2020, he has been a company board member of the Russell Maliphant Contemporary Dance Centre.

He is an associate lecturer on the Spatial Practices course at Central Saint Martins, ambassador of The London School of Architecture and an advisor to Theatrum Mundi.
