Whilst working at Urban Project Bureau, Joseph was part of the design team for a new Sixth Form Block for Graveney School. UPB supported Graveney School in securing the funding from HM Government. The 800 square meter building was constructed on a small budget (£1200 sq m) it was designed as a template to highlight the ability for schools to produce high quality school building despite reduction on capital budgets for education building projects.
The project is a precedent of circular economy design, as it is an example of how to deliver buildings with a reduction of materials and waste. The Sixth Form Block has won two 2016 RIBA awards and a 2015 Wandsworth Design Award.
